Summer 2013 Curriculum:
All Things New:
See What God Is Doing!
From the very beginning, God
creates order out of chaos. With each new day light overcomes darkness, new
life emerges, and we find new potential in our own lives. The Bible provides
the good news for us that just as God restored the lives of ancient people, God
will renew us today as well. Our experiences at camp together show us that
through Christ, God continues to do a new thing in us, both individually and
collectively. Come and see what God is doing!
New Day 1: Isaiah
43:19-21: God wants to do a new thing with me this week. How will I
respond?
New Day 2: Psalm
104: 24-33; Genesis 1-2:3: Creation is past, present, and future; and we
are part of it!
New Day 3: Jeremiah
18:1-6; Isaiah 64:8; Genesis 2:4-7: God is always working with me. I need
to be open to God’s shaping of me like clay in the potter’s hand.
New Day 4: Exodus
31:1-13; Luke 10:38-42: God gave me gifts to be creative. God gives me rest
to be re-created.
New Day 5: Acts
17:19-34: God calls me to take next steps of faith and discipleship. New
understanding results in new behavior.
New Day 6:
Ephesians 4:1, 15-16, 22–32; Acts 11:26: I will live more fully for and
with God. God will constantly renew me. I can always grow up more and more in
Christ.
Camp to Home:
Philippians 1:3-6: God isn’t finished with us! God is with us wherever we
go.
